Update on where we are
Hi Guys,
Thought I should update you all on where we are. We left Rockhampton last week and traveled west, our first night was by the Jordan River in Jerrico. Bush camping at it's best, unfortunately the new hot water system that we have for a shower would not work so now we need to find a camp store that will exchange it for a new one that works!
We then traveled to Isisford where Jayson's family goes back 6 generations, hard working Aussie's who pioneered this country the far west. I will be posting some videos of our time in this great little town in the channel country.
We have now made our way from Winton to Mount Isa. We plan on catching up with some business and homework and sorting out a few camper issuse like the hot water system before we head into the Territory. We have 1400km to cover before we get to Darwin and like most travellers out here we will be free camping along the way, it should take us three days to get the Darwin. Looking forward to the warmer weather but we have heard it has been really hot and rainy, but it is easing off now so hopefully it will be gone by the time we get there. Keep your eyes out for some videos shortly.
