Making good friends is a benefit of our business

This video was taken during our stay at Umina Beach on the Central Coast. We have spent a fair bit of time while here with our business partners Ron and Rhonda. The nice thing about a business like ours is meeting like minded positive people. We look forward to spending time with more great members of the community next week end in Sydney.

20th Feburay 2010

Just a little personal update on what has been happening with us. We have arrived in Umina on the Central Coast of NSW. We are staying in a nice park right on the beach with a great pool and an even better price.
We plan to be here until next friday and then we head into Sydney.
We went and saw my lovely grandmother on thursday and she was so happy to see us. I think our visit made her day. Today we had a visit to our caravan by my Aunt, Uncle Cousin and Grandmother then we went to Woy Woy Fishermans Warf for you guessed it fish and chips. But this was a bit different as the Pelicans came right in to the tables. They were some of the biggest Pelicans I have seen, some were as tall as Tiffany. I will upload the photos soon.
Talking about birds, we have Ducks and Lorikeets at our caravan everyday waiting for the kids to come feed them. Tiffany and Chloe are in love with the Lorikeets and spend hours patting and feeding them. Tiffany has also enjoyed chasing the Ducks away from the Lorikeets bread.
School work is going ok, the poor kids have alot to get through so we are going to take it at our own pace otherwise we will never leave the caravan or see any of Aus.
Slowly we are working out a routine that fits our needs, time for school, time for the business and time for us. After all time for us is the whole reason we are doing this trip and have chosen our portable business.

First stop on our Aussie Adventure

Well we are off to a flying start. It was a little sad leaving North Lakes on saturday and we are now offically homless! Sunday we took the boat to Morten Island and are staying at Tangalooma Resort. It is a very beautiful place with sandunes dipping into the crystal blue water. A nice extra for the day was to see our friends the Lovelady's on the island for a day trip so we had lunch together and the kids had a swim in the pool. Last night was the highlight of the trip so far. Jayson, Chloe, Curtis and Tiffany all ventured into the water to hand feed the wild dolphins. They were graced with the presence of one of the older dolphins in the pod, Echo. He was very gentle taking the fish from the children. Tiffany was very excitied and Chloe said it was the best feeling to be so close to these wild dancers of the sea. Of course someone had to record the event so I watched from the jetty and got some great video and photos. Keep your eye out for those. Early this morning we watched as the dolphins played near the beach jumping and rolling through the waves. The weather hasn't been the best with scattered showers but we are not letting that get in our way of having fun. This morning we took a boat cruise around the 15 ship wrecks and feed the little fish that live amoung the iron reef. This afternoon Jayson is taking Chloe and Curtis on a Quad Bike tour. Curtis is very excited about driving his own quad. Chloe is happy to be a passenger though. I will keep you posted about how that goes.
Life is good live it!
